“To be there when the road does what roads do…”

A father spends years carrying his daughter on the back of his motorcycle, bearing the full weight of her safety, until the moment comes when that responsibility can no longer be shared. As she takes the handlebars and rides into her own uncertainty, he is forced to confront the hardest truth of all—that love is not holding on, but letting go as the road carries them from two-up to solo.

WRITER, DIRECTOR, and PRODUCER
Christian loves motorcycles, loves telling stories, and hopes this short film encourages other fathers to be there for their daughters when the road does what roads do.
DIRECTOR OF CINEMATOGRAPHY
Seth is a brilliant artist. His technical capabilities are impressive & his do more with less approach speaks to his command of the lens. A trusted partner, he spends the time required to understand what the film is trying to convey and achieve cinematically through the lens. Shooting highly repeatable cinematic motorcycle content utilizing only natural, ever-changing light is demanding. With very limited equipment and resources, Seth achieved what most couldn’t or wouldn’t.
RIDER & VOICE OVER ARTIST
Naomi is sharp, creative, stunning, and loads of fun. She did an incredible job of dealing with very demanding days, understanding what her character was communicating across every phase of the film, and did exceptional work riding the bike. She’s a master at U-turns now!
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Jonathan was critical to the film’s success - he rode, orchestrated logistics, operated the drone, and made a lot of technical shots possible. This film would not be possible without him.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Natalie was critical to the film’s success - she acted as 2nd AC and logistics support. She filled a critical role that helped set the post-production team up for success. The film would not be possible without her.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Isaac rescued us for a secondary shoot after we had wrapped on principal photograph. He drove, provide logistical support, and acted as a 2nd AC. The additional content improved the story, and without him the film would not be possible.
