I had the privilege of visiting the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. It feels almost overwhelming the first time you step inside - towering glass walls reveal floor after floor of motorcycles suspended in space, with more than 900 machines on display and over 1,600 in the collection. The scale is breathtaking: rare race bikes, pristine classics, and oddball designs packed into an architecturally stunning, five-story cathedral to speed. Then you step outside, and right there is a world-class racetrack curling through green Alabama hills, where the machines inside come roaring to life on the asphalt. It’s not just a museum - it’s an entire motorsports playground, equal parts history, art, and adrenaline.

So overwhelmed by the diversity & volume, I decided to focus on sidecars for this trip, and it delivered!
