A Midsummer's Day Dream Grand Tour 2025
From April 1 to November 15, 2025, riders embark on a Shakespeare-themed Grand Tour—visiting at least 12 "Shakespearean Places" (as on the official list) while documenting each stop with a motorcycle photo featuring their rally flag and a site sign. The event blends adventurous motorcycling with literary flair!
This year did not disappoint, and took us to places across the west. This was very much an “East Cost Tour” given how immigration influenced town names in early American history. Regardless, had a blast doing it!
Best Moments
Los Angeles, CA - visiting the Moto Shed Bike Co in the LA Arts District, and having lunch with one of my new team members.
Riding the 2017 Yamaha XSR 900 through blowing sandstorm in Southern California, narrowly missing a 4”x4” that fell out the back of a truck, and calling my spouse to let her know that the likelihood of survival that day was low.
Riding out of Big Bear, CA towards LA on CA-18 and CA-330 in 15 yards of visibility the entire way down.
